Sixth Sense

2019.03.20.

Many animals can sense magnetic fields. Domestic pigeons, turtles and even warthogs know how to determine where the north is located.

A person needs a magnet to find a direction. But, as recent studies have shown, we have an innate "sixth sense" that allows (in theory) to do without instruments.

Scientists from universities in California and Tokyo exposed several dozen volunteers to magnetic fields, placing them in a test chamber. The activity of their brain was recorded using EEG, according to eNeuro.

Artificially created fields periodically shifted. This should not have caused any sensation in people.

But in certain cases, the equipment recorded changes in the response of the brain. Some participants have decreased alpha-wave intensity - this happens when the senses receive certain information and the brain begins to process it.

Man is only beginning to understand how certain forces of nature act on him. And the evidence of the actions of stars on a person is a matter of time.

These studies were the first clear evidence of the fact that the human body at the physical level responds to magnetic fields.
